Nashville, TN Engagement Session | Mone’tt and Horace

Horace and Mone’tt bonded over a love for running marathons. The couple’s friendship lasted the distance of several marathons and eventually evolved into a meaningful relationship. Horace did a test run of his proposal, when one day he made a heart-shaped ring out of a twist tie from the bread bag. Mone’tt indulged him and accepted so the next night he went for the real thing, dropping down to one knee and pulling out a beautiful ring. This beautiful couple will tie the knot at Wightman Chapel in Nashville, TN later this year. We traveled to Nashville a few months ago for their engagement session. The session started at the Parthenon then Shelby Pedestrian Street Bridge ,  Riverfront and Nashville Symphony Center. We had a great time and from the looks of the images Mone’tt and Horage did too.

Mone’tt and Horace relaxed easily and pretty soon Horace was lightening the mood.

Horace requested this shot and it was our most challenging to capture. The lights on the far right were those of my car used to help light the scene.
