Atlanta Marriott Gateway Wedding | Angela & Victor

Marriott Gateway Wedding

Angela was one of my favorite brides; she loved our photography and promised me that her wedding was about the party. On that point she did not disappoint. Her wedding ceremony and reception was at hosted at the very modern chic Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel and our photographers did a great job of capturing Angel and Victor’s vision for their day. Starting with her Gianmarco Lorenzi crystal pumps at the reception counter at the Airport Marriott to the numerous photographs around the hotel of the bride and groom, It was a blast to photograph this wedding.  Here are some of my favorite photographs from their Marriott Gateway Wedding.

The Atrium Norcross | Nkenge & Chris

The Atrium Norcross just north of Atlanta, hosted her wedding ceremony in the garden, as she always wanted. Nkenge leaned gently on her uncle’s arm carefully navigating the flagstone walkway that led to her waiting dad the minister and Chris her future husband. As they locked eyes her nervous anticipation dissipated and everyone else in the garden with it.

After exchanging wedding and jumping the broom the couple celebrated with family and friends late into the night. Congratulations to a very deserving all around wonderful couple, thanks for making us at Jaxon part of your special day. To view other weddings at the nearby Flint Hill click here. (more…)

Atlanta Engagement Session | Laronda & Michael

Atlanta Engagement Photography Session

For their Atlanta engagement session, our couple wanted something a little edgy, sexy and urban, graffiti and old warehouse type of look for their engagement photography session. So we started at the Krog Street tunnel, old industrial site and then of course Little Five Points.

Laronda and Michael had their first date after a college football game three years ago, and became inseparable. Laronda’s version of the story is that Michael relentlessly pursued her, the new girl at work until she gave in. His story is the exact opposite, either way, we are happy they both gave in.  A few years later after a secret rendezvous with her parents while visiting Canada, he was ready. So in the presence of her beloved grandmother Michael got to his knee asked for her hand in marriage, and between tears of joy she said yes.

Michael’s other surprise came as she returned home to find their friends and family waiting to join in celebration.  She is still shocked that everyone but her knew of the plans. We are delighted they chose us to capture their wedding story and look forward to their spring wedding. Here are some of our favorite images from their Atlanta engagement session from around the city.
