Piedmont Park Engagement Session | Bryant was stunned by Joy’s beauty when he spotted her at the front of a history class at Alabama A&M University. He changed his seat so that he could get close to the Atlantan beauty, and pursued her for several months before she finally decided to start dating him officially in 2004. Bryant finally sealed the deal during the 2009 Labor Day weekend. The couple spent a romantic weekend in Myrtle Beach on the Atlantic coast. Bryant organized for them to be seated in a secluded section of the elegant Tommy Bahamas’ Tropical Cafe. After dinner, he got down on one knee and proposed, presenting Joy with a beautiful diamond ring. Joy was overwhelmed with emotion and cried for 15 minutes after accepting the proposal with an exuberant “YES!” Joy and Bryant will be joined by family and friends in Atlanta to exchange wedding vows at Eagles Landing Golf Country Club this summer. Their engagement session took place in Piedmont Park Atlanta, across from the one hundred year old Park Drive Bridge.
