What are your office hours?
We are available for phone and office visits Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 6pm by appointment only.
What is your Wedding Photography philosophy?
We are wedding storytellers. Our photographers approach to wedding photography begins with a consultation in which we sit with you and discuss your interests and style. During this meeting we get to know you better by listening to your story and observing your body language and connection. This way we can uncover subtle details about your story and better understand your preferences and dislikes. We also encourage clients who choose our Fine Arts Photography package to take advantage of our complimentary engagement sessions. This gives us a chance to deepen our knowledge of your tastes. We then incorporate these details into photographing your wedding day to produce amazing results.
It is our belief that a wedding photographer is more than just someone who shows up at your wedding armed with camera equipment. Our photographers do whatever is necessary to capture the best story for each couple.
Are you a photojournalist or a traditional photographer?
The modern-day wedding photographer must be versatile—one style certainly doesn’t fit all. Jaxon Photography provides a truly customized and flexible experience which means that we can expertly capture the unique essence of your wedding.
We may apply a documentary approach to one section or a substantial part of the wedding day however, during the pre-wedding preparations, we may adopt high fashion and editorial techniques. Some of the more detailed shots throughout the day may require a more artistic touch, but we will use our intuition and professional experience to capture each moment perfectly.
Do you photograph weddings outside of Atlanta?
Jaxon Photography is based in Atlanta, however our photographers will travel nationally as well as internationally to photograph your wedding.
Do you have a variety of wedding photography packages?
Yes, we certainly do. We have a range of packages to suit every budget or requirement, from the Elite to the Fine Art, and they are all customizable. If you cannot find a photography package that fits your requirements, please contact us and we can design a package just for you.

We use the Canon professional range with a minimum of two digital camera bodies, flashes as well as a wide assortment of lenses. All of our photographers have similar equipment and we always have a back up.
At what point on my wedding day will the photography begin?
We recommend that photography begins two hours before the wedding is scheduled to start. However, as with most things with our service, this will depend on your preference, so it can start whenever you choose. Based on your decision, we will provide you with an itinerary so that you know what to expect from the experience.
There is no limit to number of pictures we take at your wedding. The number of proof (previews) we deliver is determined by the activity at the wedding and the time of coverage. On average, a couple will see 500-1000 previews.
I have ideas on what I want from my photographer. Are you open to suggestions?
Yes, we welcome your contribution. I do recommend that we schedule a phone consultation before the wedding so we can have a detailed discussion about your suggestions. In addition, all of our photographers will happily accommodate your requests on wedding day.
Can my guests take pictures at the wedding?
Your family and friends are welcome to take pictures at the wedding and reception. During the family portrait session immediately following the wedding ceremony, only the official photographers will be allowed to take pictures. We will be working very quickly to ensure that the wedding experience continues as soon as possible and so we prefer to minimize distractions.
