The Retreat at Perimeter Summit Wedding | Danielle & Dwight

We don’t know if it was love at first sight when Danielle and Dwight ran into each other at classes at Florida A&M University, but the couple are definitely a perfect match. Both dedicated to their families, they surrounded themselves with loved ones when they tied the knot at a beautiful wedding at the Rehoboth Baptist Church. A short hour later the joined their guests at their Perimeter Summit wedding reception.

“She looks amazing” was the thought that shot into Dwight’s mind as he watched Danielle glide down the aisle on her father’s arm in a strapless, mermaid style wedding dress that hugged all of her curves. “It was just as I pictured it would be,” he said later.

For Danielle the day was absolutely perfect. From the last moments with her Dad in the holding room, to walking down the aisle in her dream dress; from memories of her mom to the first moments with her new husband, she felt that this was exactly where she was meant to be all of her life.

Perimeter Summit wedding reception and Honolulu honeymoon

After the wedding ceremony, Danielle, Dwight and their guests dined on a delicious dinner of salmon and chicken at the Perimeter Summit in Atlanta. The newly wedded couple had chosen the romantic ballad “Never felt this way” by Brian McKnight for their first dance, after which the guests all joined in for a night of dancing and fun.

On their return from honeymooning in the breathtakingly beautiful island of Honolulu, Danielle and Dwight relived their wedding as they looked through the gallery that Jaxon had prepared. Danielle commented “All of the images were real moments at the wedding that we would have missed.” She was particularly moved by some of the more intimate photos. “We [also] love the one where he’s looking down at me and my head is on his shoulder and my eyes were closed … I would definitely recommend Jaxon to other brides because he is VERY professional.”

  1. INCREDIBLE! Each image is simply better than the last. Thank you Jaxon Photography for capturing Danielle’s day exactly as it happened. I had the pleasure of being hired to provide a full service wedding planning experience for Danielle, which put me in the position of coming up with her theme. To mimic Danielle’s personality, I chose a sophisticated and understated elegant glam theme using her preferred color of purple as my inspiration. Lighting was a huge element of my concept, and Unique Event Management came through in doing exactly what I asked. And let’s not forget the incredible floral contribution of Floral Couture Atlanta. Every floral piece was a work of art, just like your pictures. Again Jaxon, my thanks for your determination to capture perfect images … and you succeeded. Much success to you.

  2. Thank you Tia, it was a pleasure working with you. Danielle, Dwight and their families were great, special thanks to Mr. Haywood, Danielle’s dad.

  3. I still can’t stop talking about how beautiful my God Daughters wedding was. Every flower was in place, the colors were astounding. The design of the program, the decorations at the reception. Everything was perfect. Jaxon Photography captured every moment of the occasion in it’s true form. Danielle never looked more beautiful and the photo’s captured her happiness. And Dwight, the groom, never stopped smiling at his beautiful bride. I couldn’t wait to come back to Vegas to show my friends photos of a wedding that was a dream come true. Danielle’s mother, Brenda, would have been so proud. These pictures will live on forever and I can’t thank you enough for doing such a wonderful job.

  4. Denise, thanks to you and all their family and friends, Danielle and Dwight had an unforgettable wedding and beautiful images to help them relive their day every time.

  5. The photographs from Dwight and Danielle’s wedding are absolutely stunning. You did an amazing job capturing the emotions of the day. Thanks for being apart of my brother’s and Danielle’s day.
